Creamy cheesecake bars infused with caramel and tart apples, perfect for any fall occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 3 cups diced apples (peeled and cored)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Press into the bottom of the prepared dish to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add in 1 cup sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined.
- Gently fold in diced apples and cinnamon into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the graham cracker crust.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl it into the filling for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the center is set.
- Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before cutting into bars.
Notes
For best results, cool the bars completely before refrigerating. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days or frozen for 2 months.
