Description
A bold and creamy Cajun shrimp pasta that’s quick enough for weeknights and impressive enough for guests, ready in just 25 minutes.
Ingredients
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning; cook until shrimp is pink.
- Add bell pepper and cook until tender.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta and parmesan cheese; mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Refrigerate cooked pasta in an airtight container for 3-4 days. For freezing, wrap tightly and freeze up to 2 months.
