Description

Delicious roasted cauliflower steaks coated in spicy buffalo sauce, served with a creamy vegan ranch drizzle.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill (or dried)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Cut cauliflower into thick steaks, approximately 1-inch thick.
  3. In a bowl, mix buffalo sauce, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Coat the cauliflower steaks with the buffalo sauce mixture.
  5. Place the steaks on a lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender and crispy.
  6. Prepare the vegan ranch by mixing vegan mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, dill, and additional garlic powder.
  7. Once cauliflower is done, drizzle with vegan ranch and serve hot.

Notes

Thicker slices of cauliflower hold up better during baking. Adjust spice levels according to your preference.
