Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the brown sugar and softened butter until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Roll the dough into balls and then roll in granulated sugar.
- Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them a few inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
