Description

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 8 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the thinly sliced onions and cook until soft and golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Stir in the balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Lay out the baguette slices on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
  6. Top each slice with brie and caramelized onions, then return to the oven for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
