Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- BBQ sauce (for brushing)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients in one place.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese.
- Add bourbon, crumbled bacon, onion, garlic, egg, and cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about one inch in diameter.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Place meatballs on the grill and cook for about 15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Brush with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Serve warm, either as appetizers or in a bun as meatball subs.
Notes
