  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture and mix well.
  3. Gradually add the flour and knead until the dough is soft and elastic.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.
  5. Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread melted butter on top, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and cut into equal pieces.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
