Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour and knead until the dough is soft and elastic.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread melted butter on top, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into equal pieces.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
- For the frosting: Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread frosting over warm rolls and serve.

Ensure warm milk is used to activate the yeast, and the dough is covered while rising to prevent drying.
