Description

A one-pan meal featuring ground turkey and orzo pasta, packed with protein and flavor for a satisfying dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Oil for sautéing


Instructions

  1. Chop the onion, mince the garlic, and dice the red bell pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  3. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Stir in red bell pepper, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Add orzo and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes
