A one-pan meal featuring ground turkey and orzo pasta, packed with protein and flavor for a satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Oil for sautéing
Instructions
- Chop the onion, mince the garlic, and dice the red bell pepper.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Stir in red bell pepper, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning.
- Add orzo and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
