Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes


Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by gathering all items required.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef for 5-7 minutes until browned, draining any excess fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning and 1/2 cup of water to the beef, mix well, and let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Lay out the flour tortillas and fill each with a portion of the beef mixture and shredded cheese.
  5. Roll each tortilla tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
  6. In another skillet, heat over medium and cook the burritos seam-side down for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
