Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until there is no pink left.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until soft and translucent.
- Stir in the uncooked rice, beef broth, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a lightly greased baking dish.
- Cover the top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the rice is cooked and cheese is melted and bubbly.
