Description
A hearty bowl of ground turkey sautéed with vegetables and served over rice, featuring a spicy-sweet sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground turkey and break it up with a spatula; cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in chopped bell pepper and broccoli; cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Mix together soy sauce, sriracha, and honey in a bowl.
- Pour sauce over the turkey mixture and stir to coat; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the turkey mixture over rice and garnish with sliced green onions.
Notes
For added crunch, top with crushed peanuts or sesame seeds. Can serve in lettuce wraps for a low-carb option.
