A quick and delicious take on tiramisu featuring creamy mascarpone, ripe bananas, and coffee-soaked ladyfingers.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 24 ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the cooled coffee.
- In a serving dish, layer half of the dipped ladyfingers on the bottom.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Slice two bananas and layer them on top of the mascarpone mixture.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and sliced bananas.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and enjoy!
Notes
Ensure ladyfingers are dipped quickly to avoid sogginess. Letting the dessert chill is crucial for the best texture.
