Description

A quick and delicious take on tiramisu featuring creamy mascarpone, ripe bananas, and coffee-soaked ladyfingers.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder for dusting


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  2. Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the cooled coffee.
  3. In a serving dish, layer half of the dipped ladyfingers on the bottom.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Slice two bananas and layer them on top of the mascarpone mixture.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and sliced bananas.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  8. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure ladyfingers are dipped quickly to avoid sogginess. Letting the dessert chill is crucial for the best texture.
