Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed bananas (about 2 ripe bananas)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup banana pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the mashed bananas and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix to combine.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
  6. Stir in the banana pudding mix and nuts if using.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

For a sweeter treat, add chocolate chips or use brown sugar instead.
