Ingredients
- 1 cup mashed bananas (about 2 ripe bananas)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup banana pudding mix
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the mashed bananas and melted butter until smooth.
- Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix to combine.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
- Stir in the banana pudding mix and nuts if using.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing into squares.
Notes
For a sweeter treat, add chocolate chips or use brown sugar instead.
