Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Mash the banana in a bowl until smooth.
- Add chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to the bowl. Mix well until smooth.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, stir well and top with fresh fruit if desired.
Notes
Chia seeds need time to absorb the liquid, do not rush. You can substitute chia seeds with ground flaxseed if needed.
