Description

A delightful combination of banana bread and gooey cinnamon rolls that is easy to make and delicious to eat.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for filling)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl.
  3. Mix in the sugar and softened butter until smooth.
  4. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle of about 12×9 inches.
  8. Spread melted butter over the dough.
  9. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the butter.
  10. Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other.
  11. Cut the rolled dough into 1-inch thick slices.
  12. Place slices in a greased baking dish.
  13. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  14. While baking, mix powdered sugar with milk to create a glaze.
  15. Let rolls cool for a few minutes before drizzling with glaze.

Notes

Don’t forget to use ripe bananas for the best flavor! You can substitute ingredients if you’re missing something.
