A healthy and flavorful Baked Teriyaki Salmon recipe that combines rich flavors with minimal effort, making it perfect for busy weeknights or special dinners.
Ingredients
- 4 Skinless Salmon Fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1 Green Onion (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
- ⅓ Cup Low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ Cup Fresh orange juice
- 2-3 tablespoons Water
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Minced fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon Chili Flakes (or to taste)
- ½ Lemon (juiced)
- ½ tablespoon Gluten-free flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a small bowl, whisk together all teriyaki sauce ingredients: soy sauce, orange juice, water, honey, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, lemon juice, and gluten-free flour.
- Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and place the salmon fillets in the dish.
- Pour the sauce over the salmon fillets, then bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until cooked through and flaky.
- Remove from the oven and spoon the thickened sauce from the baking dish over the salmon.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onion. Enjoy!
Notes
For a thicker sauce, let it simmer on the stove before pouring it over the salmon. You can also marinate the salmon in the teriyaki sauce for added flavor.
