A delicious combination of crispy bacon and tender Brussels sprouts, perfect as a side dish or main course.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 2 cloves garlic (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts.
- In a bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Chop the bacon and add it to the bowl.
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and roast for about 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are crispy and caramelized.
- If desired, add minced garlic in the last 5 minutes of roasting for extra flavor. Serve warm.
Notes
For added flavor, experiment with seasonings like paprika or parmesan, and consider adding nuts for extra crunch.
