Description

Delightful bites of apple fritters, golden and crisp on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside – perfect for sharing on any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peeled and diced apples
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, mix together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Gradually combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth, then gently fold in the diced apples.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the fritter bites and drain them on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
