Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 apple, diced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Rinse the quinoa under cold water.
- In a pot, combine quinoa and almond milk.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- Add diced apple, cinnamon, maple syrup, and salt. Stir together.
- Cook for 15 minutes or until quinoa is fluffy.
- Stir in walnuts before serving.
